Last week's workshop with Wildflower home was a great success! In the first of a two-step project we began making a community quilt to be hung in the women's workshop. The quilt will be made up of 12"x12" swatches that the women are decorating with a personalized fabric collage that is reflective of "what makes them who they are". We asked the women to think about the people, places, objects, or experiences that have shaped them into who they are today and to create an image using the fabric collage method that shows this influence. In part two of the project the women will finish their their collage's and sew them together to make a community quilt!
